Cancellation & Rescheduling

I know things happen! If something comes up and you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so a minimum of 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time. Appointments canceled within 24 hours will be charged 50% of the total service value. This fee must be paid prior to rescheduling. To cancel or reschedule, please text 509-903-6342.


No-shows

Please notify me if you will not make your appointment. Every appointment requires material prepping, set up, and proper infection control procedures prior to your arrival. And every no-show appointment leaves me concerned about you. Any failure to make an appointment without notice will result in a charge of 95% of the total service price. This fee must be paid before booking or receiving any subsequent appointments.

Late arrivals

I understand uncontrollable things happen. If you are running late, please notify me by calling or texting 509-903-6342. Grace will be given up to 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment time. Late arrivals will have the time deducted from the total service time and will be charged the full amount of the service. In order to stay on schedule for all my clients and give you the best service possible, all clients arriving more than 15 minutes late will be charged 50% of the total service price and will be asked to reschedule.

Illness

Being sick is the worst when you have plans, but please stay home if you are sick. I kindly ask that you give me as much notice as possible. I would rather reschedule than be exposed to an illness. Inevitably, being sick will impede your service comfort and results. Therefore if you come to your appointment with noticeable symptoms which disrupt our service time together, I will have to stop immediately. You will still be charged a minimum of 75% of the service price.

Likewise, when I am sick, I will notify you and help you reschedule your appointment!

Skin condition

At least 7 days prior to your appointment, please avoid excessive sun exposure. Make sure to properly apply SPF to avoid sunburned skin as well. I also ask that you avoid picking at your skin and refrain from any at-home shaving or waxing in the treatment area. All of these may risk your skin becoming highly reactive during treatment. If due to unfortunate circumstances, you are sunburned or have any open lesions on your skin, please notify me as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment. Please be responsible and plan ahead if your appointment is scheduled in summer months and before/after vacations.

Client intake & Consent forms

All required forms must be filled out before starting your appointment. Please arrive 10 minutes early to do so. If any contraindications (health concerns that prevent a particular service or modality) are discovered after completion of forms or during your consultation, the service may need to be modified or cancelled. Certain conditions may require a note from your doctor with clearance to proceed in rescheduling. By providing full transparency in your health history, you allow me to help you in the safest way possible. I cannot be held liable for information you do not reveal during your consultation. Everything you see on intake and consent forms is important. I promise!

Returns

Services: Refunds or exchanges are not available on services already performed or in process. Service packages may be refunded prior to receiving any services; however, individual series appointments will be 100% redeemed if canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours or no-showed altogether. Individual appointments that have been prepaid may be rescheduled according to the rescheduling policy or refunded within 30 days of purchase.


Products: I am unable to offer refunds or exchanges on any products purchased for any reason other than manufacturer defects.

I am NEW to XO JANELA facial services, where do I begin?

Begin by deciding your preferred facial & any add-ons. Next click the “BOOK YOUR SERVICES” button to go to the booking page. Here you select all your service options. Important: When selecting your facial type, please select the "New Client" option. Complete the process & you’ve booked your first XO JANELA facial!


(The new client option includes extended time for an introductory consult which allows your Skincare Therapist to get to know you & your skin in order to give the best treatment recommendation possible & rule out any contraindications.)

I am overwhelmed and/or have never had a facial before. How do I decide?

You are not alone in this. Select a Virtual or In-Depth Consultation & your Skincare Therapist will guide you to the best option based on your skin concerns & goals.

What skincare line do you use?

XO JANELA carries Rhonda Allison "RA" Skincare. RA skincare is cruelty-free, toxic-free, chirally-corrected, & derived from natural ingredients creating superior products & home care systems that will transform your skin. All formulations are free from synthetic dyes, synthetic fragrances, sodium lauryl sulfates, & parabens. The majority of RA products are transformative yet life-style friendly (requiring little to no downtime) & safe to use while pregnant or nursing.

What is the significance of "The METHOD Facial" & its selection of modalities?

Adding modalities to a service can add up quickly. Add-ons like "LED Light Therapy for $20" or "High Frequency for $15" are a common approach to facial service pricing. While there is no wrong way to offer services, in this approach you have the option to keep it simple or further invest in your treatment results. From there, I intuitively work with your skin without limitations. For me, nothing is worse than being constantly asked if I want to pay more for my treatment during my treatment. With this corrective facial - instead of paying individually for each modality - you receive multiple modalities at a fraction of the cost according to the needs of your skin.

Does it matter which facial types & add-on treatments I choose?

All facial services are custom to your individual skincare needs. You select the timeframe & service type (immediate, longterm, or relaxation focused). Your Skincare Therapist will then ensure you are a candidate & work with you to create a personalized treatment plan specifically for you.

Are there any limitations or exceptions when choosing add-on treatments?

Choose what you think you will benefit from the most. Your health intake forms & initial consultation will help your Skincare Therapist officially determine the most suitable options.


NOTE: All treatments & modalities are contingent upon your health history, skin condition, coordinating treatments, & allotted timeframe. For safety reasons, we must forego any treatments or modalities that are contraindicated.
